Academy, Accreditation and Educator Services Terms

1. Who These Terms Apply To

These terms apply to academies, educators, training providers and business owners who use Sunshine Training systems, academy levels, student portals, certificate tools, resources, accreditation services, teacher training courses, educator qualifications, mentoring, consultancy, onboarding or related support.

Sunshine Training is operated by SUNSHINE OFFICIAL LTD, company number 16687297.

2. Sunshine Services Covered By These Terms

Depending on what you purchase, enrol on or are approved for, Sunshine may provide:

• academy levels and academy setup services;
• academy dashboard and educator portal access;
• student learning portal access;
• editable and brandable training resources;
• theory systems, quizzes, learner tools and CPD support;
• certificate creation, certificate records and CertiChecker verification;
• Sunshine accreditation or academy status;
• teacher training courses and educator qualifications, including routes such as AET, CAVA, CET, DET and IQA where offered;
• academy support, strategy calls, mentoring, resources and future platform updates;
• public academy directory or accreditation status display where applicable.

Some qualifications or certified routes may be delivered with or through external awarding organisations, partners, assessors, tutors or certification bodies. Where this applies, additional awarding body rules, assessment standards, evidence requirements or learner terms may also apply.

3. Your Status As An Independent Academy

You are an independent business. You are not an employee, worker, partner, agent or franchisee of Sunshine unless we agree this in writing. You are responsible for your own learners, training delivery, practical sessions, course terms, policies, complaints, refunds, insurance, tax and compliance.

4. Academy Requirements

You must:

• provide accurate academy, owner, address, contact, logo and social profile details;
• hold suitable insurance for the training you deliver;
• hold suitable qualifications, experience and competence for your courses;
• comply with health and safety, safeguarding, equality, consumer, advertising and data protection law;
• deliver training professionally, safely and ethically;
• make your own refund, cancellation and complaints terms clear to learners;
• keep student and academy data secure;
• tell Sunshine promptly if your insurance, address, business details or training status changes.

5. Accreditation, Audits And Records

We may hold academy details, owner details, addresses, insurance records, course lists, accreditation records and supporting evidence for accreditation, insurance, audit, certificate verification, compliance and fraud prevention.

We may request updated evidence from you at any time. If evidence is missing, expired or unsuitable, we may pause, refuse or remove accreditation, course approval, certificate access or public academy status.

Accreditation, academy status, course approval and certificate access are not automatic rights. They depend on continued compliance with Sunshine standards, evidence requirements, insurance requirements, payment requirements and professional conduct expectations.

6. Public Academy Information

Where needed, we may display your academy business name, location, accreditation status, academy code, course categories, public contact details, profile image, logo or social links. This may be shown in an academy directory, public profile, CertiChecker, accreditation status page or student-facing area.

We will not intentionally display private owner information unless it is needed for legal, accreditation, verification or agreed public profile purposes.

7. Student Registration And Learner Data

You may register students or provide student information to Sunshine so learners can access theory, quizzes, resources, certificates and student tools. You must have a lawful basis to provide this data and must explain to learners how their data will be used by Sunshine and by your academy.

You must only enter accurate student details and must not create fake, duplicate or misleading learner records.

8. Teacher Training Courses And Educator Qualifications

Where you enrol on a Sunshine teacher training course, educator qualification, assessor qualification, IQA route, mentoring programme or similar educator service, you must complete the required learning, attendance, assessment, portfolio, evidence and verification requirements for that course.

Course outcomes are not guaranteed. Qualification achievement, certification, assessment decisions and progression may depend on evidence quality, attendance, assessment criteria, tutor feedback, awarding body standards and any required external verification.

You must submit your own work. Plagiarism, false evidence, impersonation, forged documents, misleading claims or assessment misconduct may lead to removal from the course, refusal of certification, withdrawal of academy status or reporting to a relevant awarding body or regulator.

9. Practical Training And Learner Refunds

You are responsible for selling and delivering your practical training. You are responsible for course dates, learner attendance, practical assessment, complaints, cancellation terms and refunds for course fees paid to you.

Sunshine is not responsible for refunding learners for courses sold by your academy. You must handle learner refunds fairly and in line with your own published terms and UK consumer law.

10. Sunshine Fees, Booking Fees And Subscriptions

Sunshine may charge academy setup fees, monthly subscription payments, booking fees, platform fees or other agreed charges. These fees help maintain Sunshine systems, student tools, certificate services, support, hosting and future platform development.

Where you choose a monthly academy level, you authorise the agreed recurring payments. Failed or overdue payments may lead to restricted access, paused certification tools, paused public status or account suspension.

11. Resources, Systems And Intellectual Property

Sunshine resources, templates, manuals, quizzes, system designs, certificate layouts, platform features and branding remain owned by Sunshine or our licensors. You may use resources only for your approved academy training activity. You must not resell, redistribute, publish, upload, copy or share Sunshine resources outside your authorised use.

You must not:

• copy, clone, rebuild, imitate or reverse engineer Sunshine systems, portals, workflows, dashboards, layouts or features;
• share screenshots, images, videos, recordings or descriptions of restricted Sunshine system layouts with third parties;
• use Sunshine resources, documents, quizzes, manuals or certificate tools to build a competing system or service;
• sell, licence, transfer or give Sunshine resources to another academy, educator, business or platform;
• remove Sunshine branding, notices, watermarks or ownership wording unless your package expressly allows editable branding;
• damage, overload, interfere with, test, scan, scrape or attempt to bypass Sunshine systems or security.

Any unauthorised copying, sharing, publication, misuse or attempted replication of Sunshine systems or resources may lead to immediate suspension, removal of access, withdrawal of accreditation or legal action.

12. Confidentiality And System Information

You must treat non-public Sunshine system information as confidential. This includes admin screens, academy portal screens, student portal screens, processes, pricing tools, internal workflows, certificate processes, data structures, onboarding processes, strategy guidance and any private documents or resources made available to you.

You must not disclose confidential information to another provider, developer, competitor, academy or third party without written permission from Sunshine.

13. Account Security

You must keep academy logins secure and only give access to authorised people within your academy. You are responsible for activity carried out through your academy account.

You must not share logins, allow unauthorised users to access Sunshine systems, create fake users, access another academy's account, or attempt to gain access to restricted admin or student areas.

14. Gross Misconduct, Suspension And Removal

We may suspend, restrict, revoke or remove accreditation, academy status, course approval, certificate access, public directory status, account access or service access at any time where we reasonably believe there is a serious concern, legal risk, safeguarding risk, learner risk, payment issue, evidence issue, system misuse or reputational risk.

We may revoke accreditation or academy status without notice where there is evidence or reasonable suspicion of gross misconduct. Gross misconduct may include, but is not limited to:

• fraud, dishonesty, forged evidence or misleading certification claims;
• unsafe training activity or serious learner welfare concerns;
• harassment, bullying, abuse, discrimination or threatening behaviour;
• breach of confidentiality or misuse of student, academy or Sunshine data;
• copying, sharing, damaging or attempting to copy Sunshine systems, layouts, resources or restricted information;
• unauthorised use of Sunshine branding, certificates, accreditation status or academy status;
• serious complaints, repeated complaints or behaviour likely to damage Sunshine's reputation;
• non-payment, chargebacks, payment abuse or misuse of subscriptions;
• any conduct that Sunshine reasonably considers incompatible with professional academy status.

Where access is suspended or removed, you must stop representing yourself as an active Sunshine academy or accredited provider unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

15. Liability

We provide Sunshine systems with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for your practical training, premises, teaching, learner contracts, learner injuries, learner refunds, tax, insurance, employees, contractors or business decisions, except where the law says we are responsible.

16. Privacy And Data Protection

You must comply with data protection law when handling student and academy information. Sunshine will handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

You must not download, export, screenshot, share or disclose student data, academy data or Sunshine system data unless it is needed for your approved training activity and lawful for you to do so.

17. Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms when our systems, packages, payment process, accreditation requirements or legal duties change. The latest version will be published on this website.
