My salon is based in a small village called new Whittington In Chesterfield. I started my own business as a lash technician 6 years ago. When finding out I was pregnant with my little boy and instead wanted to build a business that would work around still being a full-time mum.
Once I had built a reliable, substantial client base, I then made the decision to stop renting space and get my own salon from there my business has expanded and continues to grow to this day. My job is my passion and I love doing what I do but this year I decided it was time for a new challenge - time for me to progress within my business, so decided I was going to do my AET as I have a passion to teach others - to be able to pass on skills and share my knowledge so others can create a new career, or further their skills within their current career.
My aim as a teacher is to share my knowledge and skills and to support and guide others in creating their dream job, as I have been fortunate enough to be able to do.
Having my salon I am able to work what hours I want to work as there is another 4 team members for myself this enables me to juggle my family and home life alongside running a successful business. I like to teach on a one-to-one basis or in small groups so as to give individual attention to each student.
In this way they can truly gain the most out of my training, If there is a requirement for larger group training, I`m also able to accommodate your needs. All students are provided ongoing support after completing their courses with me. My aim is for every student to leave feeling positive, inspired and confident towards their new exciting venture
